At NPRA's 6th annual Science Teacher Enhancement Program known as STEP 32 elementary school science teachers participated in two, one-week sessions held in Houston in June. The workshops are designed to provide them with the tools and resources they need to enhance their teaching skills in chemistry. The first session was located at Dow Chemical’s Dow Center; a second program was held at Shell’s Westhollow Technology Center. Teachers who participated in this year’s program were from school districts in Indiana, Louisiana, New Mexico, Pennsylvania and Texas.
