Membership

Membership in NPRA is corporate in classification, with employees of member organizations, and their subsidiaries, entitled to the benefits of NPRA membership.

Benefits

NPRA sponsors comprehensive, information-packed meetings to help our members excel as they meet the opportunities and challenges of modern business. Each year we hold a dozen meetings, several of which are among the foremost available in the petroleum refining and petrochemical manufacturing industries worldwide. These meetings provide the ideal forum for exchanging ideas and new product information, airing concerns, solidifying industry response to legislative and regulatory proposals, and viewing hands-on demonstrations of new products and services. NPRA members reap the rewards of reduced registration fees to these relevant and vital meetings, conferences and workshops. Member companies may also capitalize on these meetings as strategic opportunities to introduce their own new products and services to the industry.

Timely information is a key business asset. NPRA's publications help our members stay ahead of the curve on industry statistics, technical innovations, environment and safety developments, security and other issues of relevance. Most of these publications are provided free to all members as a standard benefit. We also provide the formal written papers of presentations made at our meetings as well as technical transcripts which include the questions, panel responses and comments from attendees.

How to Join NPRA

Regular members of the NPRA include virtually all of the petroleum refiners and petrochemical manufacturers in the U.S. If you feel that you qualify for regular membership, please send a letter indicating your desire for membership along with verification of the refining capacity of your facility; or for petrochemical manufacturers, a description of the processes used by your company in petrochemical manufacture.

If you don't qualify for refining or petrochemical membership, you may wish to consider international manufacturing or associate membership in NPRA. International memberships are available to refining and manufacturing entities located abroad. Associate memberships are extended to both domestic and foreign companies with special interests in petroleum refining and petrochemical manufacturing who do not possess refineries or production facilities themselves. Although a few aspects of international and associate member participation are limited, they contribute significantly to NPRA through sharing of their expertise and insight, as well as their attendance at exhibits and conferences.

Dues

Membership fees are established by the Board of Directors. Dues information is available from the Membership Coordinator at membership@npra.org or by telephone at 202-457-0480.
